At ALARM we recognise the importance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and how it can play an important part of enhancing and improving skills and knowledge in your profession. Therefore, in addition to the learning, training and guidance we provide, we have developed an online CPD tool to help members manage, track and record their CPD activity. The tool will automatically track attendance at ALARM training courses, seminars and conferences, as well as letting members add other learning undertaken throughout the year.

Follow the steps below and take advantage of ALARM's newest member benefit.

Log new CPD

How to log new CPD

1. Login to your account on the ALARM website.

2. Click 'My account' in the top right hand corner.

3. Click 'My CPD activity' from the drop down.

4. Click 'Log your CPD'.

5. Fill out the form as neccessary.

6. Click 'Submit'.

Your activity will show a snapshot of CPD logged for 2025. Historical CPD can be submitted but won't show on your CPD logged snapshot. It will however show if you filter the dates option.

Looking at your CPD records

Once you have logged your CPD you will be able to download a record to keep for personal or professional use.

1. Scroll down on the 'My CPD activity' page.

2. Click 'Download report'. This will download a report of all 2025 CPD.

If you have submitted historical CPD:

1. Select date range on the filter on the right hand side.

2. Click 'Download report'. This will download a report of all CPD within the date range you have selected.
