Keep Britain Tidy is a national, environmental charity with a 70-year legacy of working to create a clean and healthy environment, rich in wildlife and valued by people who love where they live.
Keep Britain Tidy believe that everyone has a role to play in improving the environment on their doorstep and, through local action, they can contribute to solving the key global environmental issues of climate change, loss of biodiversity and ecological degradation.
Through their programmes, activities and campaigns, they help to:
- Tackle the root causes of litter and waste and reduce environmental degradation by helping people reduce resource use and consumption, prevent waste and take litter out of the environment.
- Restore nature and protect biodiversity, championing a clean and healthy environment for everyone, by working with volunteers and through their accreditation schemes.
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by equipping individuals and communities with the tools and knowledge they need to live more sustainably.
Keep Britain Tidy motivate, inspire and educate people, communities and organisations across England to together take action for the environment.
Members and sponsors will have the opportunity to donate to this worthwhile charity at the Risk Awards dinner on Monday 17 June during the charity raffle.
