In this session, Kevin will delve into subsidence damage and the claims which arise. He will inform and explain the causes and types of damage often seen, especially cases resulting from nearby trees and what customers might expect during the claims journey. Kevin will also consider the impact from the introduction of the Environment Act and also the environmental considerations when repairing subsidence damage properties. The session will also cover:

• Detail the different types of subsidence damage commonly seen and their causes.
• Investigation and diagnosis’s of damage.
• Understand and explain the differences in claim durations and the different customer journeys.
• Overview of typical repair techniques.
