Chris and Gavin intend to use real case examples to show what claims teams might consider when a loss occurs to see if a policy might respond; this is a practical session rather than a policy wording review and it will focus on the overarching aspects and principles. They intend also to identify some common challenges and provide some tips to help them be averted.
Before Marsh, Gavin was a Development Executive at a large independent brokerage’s new business team with responsibilities including liaising with prospects, design and execution of broking strategy, delivering presentations and requests for tenders together with design and placement of the insurance & risk programme.
Gavin completes Public Contracts Regulations compliant tender management programmes and consistently achieves the best possible results for clients.
Chris worked closely with public sector and emergency services throughout his career in claims, across a range of classes and later at a strategic level, as was the primary contact for clients, brokers, insurers and other stakeholders.
