The world of higher education is fast moving; it sits in the middle of cultural issues, economic change, global turbulence, all the while delivering the vital mission of delivering education and research to make the world better. There is no doubt that UK Higher Education is facing multiple challenges. It seems that everyday universities are in the news, MPs and ministers are calling their work out in public, or there is another crisis which could knock their work off course. In this session James will set out what to expect in the year ahead and the major risks for all of us who value and work in higher education.
