Luke will provide an overview of first party property claims from the perspective of the loss adjuster - covering investigating causation, assessing quantum and agreeing settlement as well as considering subrogation and the identification of fraud. Luke will use case studies to examine the added value that the loss adjuster brings to the claims process including engagement with experts, and the effective management of complex stakeholders including insurers and brokers, as well as a focus on the customer journey. The session will conclude with a look at innovation and what’s coming next in the claims space.
